Before The Great Cataclysmic Event and the fall and subsequent resurrection of society. In the time of lost history representatives from all of the countries of the world took part in games of friendliness. Once each Olympiad (a period of about four modern years), these ritualistic gatherings of ceremony and celebration were designed to promote what were known the games' Values. Specifically these were values of Friendship, Excellence and Respect. Further to these Values were Aims -  to Empower, Achieve and Inspire.
To Pre-cataclysmic peoples these ‘Games’ were a cornerstone of society and ensured a global oneness - by enacting these values each country made a symbolic promise of peacefulness for the next four years.
